Diversified Company does not make political contributions, does not fund political campaigns or political action committees, and does not use company resources to influence elections.

Our reasoning is simple. A company's money comes from its customers. Spending that money to advance political outcomes those customers may oppose is a misuse of the relationship. Our clients hire us to provide services, not to speak for them.

This is not a claim that political matters are unimportant. It is a statement about where they belong. Political participation belongs to people: to citizens, to voters, to individuals acting on their own behalf and with their own resources.

What this means in practice

Employees are free to participate

Individuals associated with Diversified Company are free to hold and express their own political views, to support candidates and causes with their own time and money, and to participate in civic life as fully as they wish. Those activities are personal, and they are not positions of the company.

Compliance with law

This position is a matter of company policy and not a legal disclaimer. We comply with the laws and regulations that apply to our business, we respond to lawful requirements, and we participate in the ordinary regulatory processes that any company must.
