1. Our approach
We comply with valid legal process. We also read it carefully. Requests that are overbroad, defective, or unsupported by proper authority are challenged or narrowed before anything is produced.
2. Requirements
- Requests must be in writing and issued by a body with authority over Diversified Company.
- Requests must identify the records sought with reasonable specificity.
- Emergency requests must state the nature of the emergency.
3. Client notice
Where we are permitted to do so, we notify the affected client before producing records, so the client has an opportunity to respond.
